Sa'ada - Saba:
The Office of the General Authority of Endowments in Sa'ada Province, in collaboration with the Quranic Culture Unit, organized a cultural seminar on Monday commemorating the martyrdom of Ally of the Quran, Imam Zaid (AS), titled "By Allah, the Book of God Does Not Allow Me to Remain Silent."
The seminar was attended by Sa'ada Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad, President of Sa'ada University Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Hamran, the Mobilization Officer in the governorate Abdullah Al-Munabbih, scholars, and members of the Executive Office of the governorate.
During the event, cultural activist Abdullah Mujalli reviewed the motives behind Imam Zaid’s (AS) revolution and the importance of following his path in confronting tyrants. He described Imam Zaid (AS) as a school for revolutionaries and a free voice for the nation against arrogant powers, emphasizing the significance of commemorating his martyrdom to draw lessons in resistance and steadfastness—especially in light of the genocide crimes committed by the Zionists against the Palestinian people.
Mujalli pointed out that Imam Zaid’s revolution and his jihadist life represent a historical and spiritual milestone that revives the values of revolution, dignity, and standing against oppressors.
"Commemorating Imam Zaid’s martyrdom is not merely a historical occasion but an opportunity to redirect our compass toward the nation’s major causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause," Mujalli stated.
The seminar’s discussions also addressed the dangers of lack of awareness in deceiving and misleading society, facilitating the domination of arrogant powers over the nation. It called for drawing lessons from Imam Zaid’s (AS) revolution in correcting misconceptions, awakening the nation, and mobilizing to confront tyrants regardless of circumstances.
