The Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water, along with its affiliated entities, organized on Monday a commemorative event in he capital Sana'a for the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali, under the slogan "Insight and Jihad."
Minister of Electricity and Water Dr. Ali Saif emphasized the importance of honoring Imam Zaid as a symbol of freedom and dignity, whose martyrdom embodied profound awareness and steadfastness.
He described Imam Zaid's uprising as a righteous revolution against falsehood and a moral and humanitarian stand beyond mere politics, aimed at restoring the essence of Islam and the nation's dignity after the caliphate became tyrannical.
Minister Saif urged Yemenis to uphold truth and follow Imam Zaid's path, drawing lessons from his sacrifices to confront current challenges, including the aggression and siege by the "American, Saudi, and Israeli coalition" seeking to break Yemeni will.
He called for unity around the revolutionary leadership to continuously support the Palestinian cause, which he deemed the cause of the entire nation.
