Women's events & solidarity stands in Sana'a mark Imam Zaid martyrdom anniversary
[21/ July/2025]
Sana'a - Saba:
The Women's Authority in Sana'a Province organized speech events to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) under the slogan "Insight and Jihad."

The speeches delivered during the events—held in the districts of Sanhan, Bani Bahlul, Al-Husn, New Sana'a, and Hamdan—reviewed the values and principles of Imam Zaid’s revolution in confronting the arrogant powers. They emphasized that his revolution was launched under the banner of insight followed by jihad, noting that Imam Zaid was not only a mujahid (fighter) but also an ascetic and a guiding light recorded in the brightest pages of Islamic history.

The speeches highlighted that commemorating Imam Zaid’s martyrdom reaffirms the Yemeni people’s commitment to his path of faith, stance, and principle in supporting the Palestinian people. The events underscored that Imam Zaid (peace be upon him) rose in jihad, rejecting oppression and tyranny, and called on the Ummah to mobilize and revolt against injustice—just as the Palestinian people today suffer from brutal massacres and oppression due to the Ummah’s inaction and submission to tyrannical forces.

The activities urged the Ummah to uphold justice, following the example of the revolutionary Imam, and to emulate his struggle in defending truth, equality, and the oppressed while confronting tyrants and oppressors.

Following the events, women in Sanhan, Al-Husn, and New Sana'a organized solidarity stands in support of the oppressed people of Gaza, who are enduring horrific genocide, forced displacement, siege, starvation, and the blockade of food and medical aid.

The participants affirmed their commitment to the revolutionary jihadist path and their connection to the great martyrs from the Household of the Prophet (Ahl al-Bayt), who sacrificed their lives for the Ummah. They also pledged to continue mobilizing in support of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" campaigns, standing alongside free men, and offering absolute support to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in continuing the jihad for the sake of Allah. They celebrated the recent military operations targeting ships linked to the usurping Zionist enemy in solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
