First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah, alongside Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Quhaim and Minister of Oil and Minerals Dr. Abdullah al-Amir, on Monday reviewed the activities and investment opportunities of the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority.
The officials were briefed on the Authority's role in mineral exploration and geological studies, as well as challenges and promising investment prospects that could significantly boost the national economy.
Miftah emphasized the Authority's crucial role in sustainable development and national sovereignty over natural resources.
Minister al-Amir highlighted efforts to develop the Authority's infrastructure and databases to attract investment and enhance transparency, while Minister Quhaim stressed the importance of geological data for infrastructure projects.
The delegation also visited the Authority's geological museum, showcasing Yemen's rich natural diversity.
