New York - Saba:
Hundreds of activists took part in a massive peaceful march at Sunset Park in Brooklyn, New York, under the slogan "Ceasefire Now," demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Participants in the march held signs calling for an immediate end to the war on Gaza and for the U.S. government to stop its support for Israel.
The demonstration brought together hundreds of people from various civil and religious backgrounds, along with activists and human rights advocates, expressing their ongoing solidarity with the Palestinian people and their rejection of the starvation policies being imposed on them.
The march was part of a series of protests held yesterday in several U.S. cities, including Collingswood in New Jersey and Somerville in Massachusetts, in solidarity with Gaza amid the siege and genocide.
This week’s focus will be on supporting boycott initiatives and pushing for a halt to U.S. arms shipments to Israel.
