Thousands of Moroccans demonstrated on Saturday evening in the city of Tangier in solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and in rejection of the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy forces against them for the past 21 months.
The march was held in response to a call by the "Moroccan Initiative for Support and Advocacy" (a non-governmental organization), and moved through several main streets in Tangier before gathering in the city center, according to the Palestinian Safa news agency.
The demonstration featured chants denouncing the displacement plans targeting Palestinians in Gaza, as well as rejecting the Zionist enemy’s attacks on the occupied West Bank.
Protesters called on the international community to take urgent action to pressure the enemy to stop the war against the Palestinian people.
They raised slogans in support of the Palestinian cause, expressing solidarity with Gaza in the face of famine and continuous bombing.
This popular movement comes at a time when Gaza is witnessing a worsening famine due to the Israeli blockade, which intensified on March 2, 2025, after the closure of crossings and the prevention of food and medical aid from entering, leading to a serious deterioration in health and living conditions.
