Raymah Governorate witnessed 33 massive rallies on Sunday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali (AS) under the slogan "Insight and Jihad."
The participants in the rally, held at the governorate’s central square in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Hassan Al-Amri, and the Governorate’s Deputy, Fahd Al-Harsi, raised slogans of freedom, steadfastness in principle, and the reinforcement of jihad in the path of God against tyrants and oppressors. They emphasized supporting truth and the oppressed while following the path of righteous leaders in confronting enemies.
During the rally—attended by the governorate’s General Mobilization Official, Mohammed Al-Nahari, as well as judicial, security, and executive officials—the educational sector official, Yaish Al-Dhabibi, affirmed that the Yemeni people today embody Imam Zaid’s approach in confronting aggression and tyranny, making sacrifices to uphold truth and eradicate falsehood.
He stressed the importance of reviving the legacy of great leaders to draw lessons from their jihadist stances in combating corruption and liberating themselves from forces of domination and arrogance.
Meanwhile, the governorate’s guidance sector official, Abdu Al-Darsi, highlighted key moments from the life of the martyred Imam Zaid and his jihadist struggle to uphold God’s word, champion truth, and combat falsehood.
He emphasized the necessity of adhering to Imam Zaid’s path, which serves as a beacon for free people in jihad, patience, and resilience—especially amid the aggression and siege faced by Yemen and Palestine today.
