Hashd says Zionist enemy using famine, aid as weapon to annihilate Gaza
[20/ July/2025]
Occupied al-Quds – Saba:

The International Committee to Support the Rights of the Palestinian People (Hashed) confirmed on Sunday that the Israeli enemy authorities are using famine and aid as a weapon and are continuing to escalate their attacks against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are experiencing a real famine. This is part of a comprehensive genocide that has been ongoing for nearly two years.

Head of the committee, Dr. Salah Abdelati, said in a special statement to Shehab News Agency that the Zionist enemy is targeting, through systematic policies, the killing of civilians and the destruction of infrastructure, with the aim of weakening the resistance and facilitating the implementation of plans for the forced displacement of Palestinians.

Abdelati explained that with the continued violations against civilians through the targeting of humanitarian institutions and hospitals, statistics indicate that 58,765 people have been martyred since October 7, 2023, including 18,000 children and 13,000 women.

He pointed out that the Gaza Strip is suffering from an unprecedented wave of economic inflation, with prices skyrocketing. He warned of turning Gaza into a zone of chaos, through the targeting of Palestinian institutions and the further deterioration of security in the Strip.

Abdelati pointed out that the Israeli enemy authorities continue to impose a systematic blockade on Gaza, including the closure of the crossings since March 2, 2025, which has exacerbated famine and the scarcity of basic commodities such as food and medicine. Furthermore, the Israeli occupation controls the distribution of humanitarian aid and attempts to obstruct the efforts of international organizations.

Abdelati called on the international community to take urgent action to halt the aggression and open the crossings to provide the necessary humanitarian aid.
