Gaza – Saba:
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday that 18 people have died in the past 24 hours due to starvation, a result of the ongoing blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation forces.
In a brief statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry said that starvation in Gaza has so far claimed the lives of 86 people—76 of them children and 10 adults—due to hunger and malnutrition, describing the death toll as a “silent massacre.”
The ministry held the Israeli occupation and the international community fully responsible for this tragedy, and called for the immediate opening of crossings to allow the entry of food and medicine.
