“Hamas”: Killing of 60 Starving Civilians by Zionist Gunfire Is Further Step in Brutal Genocide
[20/ July/2025]

Doha – SABA:

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirmed that the massacre committed by the Zionist enemy’s terrorist army against starving civilians at an aid distribution point near the “Zikim” area in northern Gaza today, Sunday—which resulted in more than sixty martyrs and dozens of injuries—is a deliberate escalation in the ongoing crime of brutal genocide.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas said the Zionist enemy army is using aid and starvation as traps to lure, kill, and abuse innocent civilians.

“What is happening in Gaza is a major crime in which killing, starvation, and dehydration are being used as tools for ethnic cleansing and genocide,” the movement said. “This demands immediate global action to end this humanitarian catastrophe, which the Zionist enemy’s government—led by war criminal Netanyahu—is deepening further.”

The statement asked: “How can the world remain silent while more than seventy children have died from malnutrition, and the majority of Gaza’s population is facing mass death due to the siege and the declared starvation policy imposed by the Zionist enemy for the past 140 days?”

It continued: “How can the world—or anyone with a living conscience—accept that thousands of tons of aid remain piled up behind the Rafah crossing, while people in Gaza are dying from hunger, thirst, and disease?”

Hamas held the Zionist enemy and the U.S. administration fully responsible for these crimes.

It also demanded an urgent international investigation into the suspicious U.S.-Israeli mechanism for aid distribution, which has effectively become a tool for systematic civilian killing.

The movement called on the United Nations and all humanitarian organizations to act immediately to stop this catastrophe and demanded the immediate opening of the Rafah crossing to allow the entry of the stockpiled aid, free from the control of the Zionist enemy.

Hamas further urged Arab and Islamic countries to shoulder their religious, national, and humanitarian responsibilities and to take swift action to lift the blockade on Gaza and support the steadfast Palestinian people defending their land.
