Gaza - Saba:
A Palestinian child from Gaza died on Sunday due to complications from malnutrition and hunger caused by the Israeli blockade and the ongoing war on the Strip.
According to Sanad News Agency, a medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported the death of four-year-old Razan Abu Zahir due to complications of malnutrition and hunger.
The child’s mother said that Razan suffered from hydrocephalus and had undergone surgery before the war, after which her condition improved. However, due to the lack of medicine and widespread hunger in the Gaza Strip, her condition deteriorated significantly, and she experienced severe weight loss. She had required special treatment and care.
With this case, the number of children who have died due to malnutrition rises to 72, while the total number of deaths due to lack of food and medicine has reached 620, according to official government data.
