Moscow - Saba:
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today Sunday that its air defense forces shot down 93 Ukrainian drones overnight.
Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "Last night, from 11:30 PM Moscow time on July 19 to 7:00 AM Moscow time on July 20, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 93 Ukrainian drones."
The statement added: "38 drones were destroyed over the territory of Bryansk Oblast, 19 over the territory of Moscow Oblast, including 16 drones heading to Moscow, 11 drones over Kaluga Oblast, 8 drones over Tula Oblast, 5 drones over Oryol Oblast, 5 drones over Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, 3 drones over the Black Sea, 2 drones over Kursk Oblast, 1 drone over Belgorod Oblast, and 1 drone over Ryazan Oblast."
Ukrainian forces target the Russian border regions of Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and Rostov Oblasts with drones and missiles on an almost daily basis.
Russian forces, for their part, respond by targeting exclusively Ukrainian military infrastructure, as well as facilities of the military-industrial complex and everything related to the storage, repair, or manufacture of military equipment, as well as centers for the concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel and foreign mercenaries.
