Gaza – Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed on Saturday that it has a sufficient food stockpile to feed all residents of the Gaza Strip for over three months, but the supplies remain in warehouses awaiting permission to enter the enclave.
In a post on its official account on platform X, UNRWA stated that these supplies—some of which are stored in a warehouse in Egypt’s Arish city—are ready for distribution, noting that the logistical systems are in place, according to the Palestinian Safa news agency.
The agency called for the opening of crossings and the lifting of the blockade, stressing its readiness to fulfill its humanitarian duty and assist the population, including one million children.
With American and European support, the Israeli occupation army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 58,765 Palestinian civilians, most of whom are children and women, and the injury of 140,485 others as of today—a non-final toll, as thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, unreachable by rescue teams. Additionally, the occupation has imposed a complete siege on Gaza, starving the Palestinian people.
