Commenting on a report published by The Times, the Kremlin spokesman indicated that they "know nothing about the possibility of such a meeting."
The British newspaper claimed that the September celebrations marking the end of World War II in China could feature a meeting of the leaders of the three victorious powers—Russia, China, and the United States.
