Palestinian Minister of Education Amjad Barham revealed on Saturday that 4,000 high school students out of a total of 78,000 were killed as a result of Israeli bombardment on the Gaza Strip.
In a press statement, Barham said that the Israeli military destroyed 293 out of 309 schools in Gaza, stressing the urgent need to halt the ongoing killing and destruction in the Strip.
Today, approximately 1,500 students are taking the third round of the General Secondary Examination (Tawjihi 2005) electronically in Gaza through a dedicated software system.
