The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index closed on Thursday at 4,654.34 points, recording an increase of 53.4 points, or 1.16 percent, compared to the previous trading session, which closed at 4,600.95 points.
The trading value reached 17,821,522 Omani rials, marking a decline of 8.6 percent compared to the previous session’s 19,505,816 Omani rials.
According to a report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange, the market capitalization rose by 0.523 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately 28.64 billion Omani rials.
Non-Omani investors purchased 714,000 Omani rials’ worth of shares, representing 4 percent of total trades, while their sales reached 1.114 million Omani rials, or 6.25 percent. This resulted in a net foreign investment outflow of 401,000 Omani rials, representing a 2.25 percent decrease.
