Reykjavik - Saba:
A volcano erupted in the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwest Iceland on Wednesday for the ninth time since late 2023, according to authorities on Thursday.
Live video footage shows lava flowing from a fissure in the ground.
According to the Icelandic Meteorological Office, the eruption began shortly before 4:00 GMT.
