Al-Mahwit - SABA:
The Rehabilitation and Reform Authority of the Ministry of Interior today inaugurated the "Martyr Leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi" training hall at the central correctional facility in Al-Mahwit governorate.
During the inauguration, Hussein Al-Houri, Director of Training and Guidance at the Authority, stated that the hall was established to facilitate the rehabilitation of inmates across various fields.
He explained that the establishment and opening of the hall falls within the Authority's plan to create training and rehabilitation centers in central correctional facilities, in implementation of the Interior Ministry leadership's directives and their focus on inmate welfare.
Al-Houri praised the Authority's leadership efforts in developing correctional facilities and opening rehabilitation centers for inmates, contributing to moral reform through planned religious and educational courses.
For his part, Colonel Omar Al-Majnadhar, Director of Al-Mahwit Central Correctional Facility, appreciated the efforts of both the governorate and Authority leadership in implementing training projects that will contribute to inmate rehabilitation.
He reviewed the facility's needs for furniture and supplies that would help the administration fulfill its humanitarian obligations toward inmates.
