Israeli enemy forces closed the western entrance to the western countryside of Bethlehem Governorate on Wednesday.
Local sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that Israeli forces closed the iron gate in the "Al-Shurafa" area at the entrance to the town of Battir, on the main road leading to the towns of Nahalin, Battir, and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin. This will prevent approximately 30,000 residents from traveling and reaching the city center of Bethlehem.
The sources added that Israeli soldiers attempted to force shop owners located on the main street to close their doors.
It is noteworthy that Israeli forces recently installed four iron gates along the main street of the western countryside.
Israeli forces also stormed the Old City of Nablus at dawn on Wednesday.
Security sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the Jasmine and Hawsh al-Atout neighborhoods in the Old City of Nablus, raiding several homes and shops.
The sources stated that Israeli forces stormed Balata refugee camp and raided homes amid a widespread presence on the market street. They also raided the villages of Aqraba, Jalud, and Qaryut, south of Nablus.
