The Capital city of Sanaa schools launched commemorative events to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zayd ibn Ali (peace be upon them) for the year 1447 AH under the slogan “Insight and Jihad,” with the attendance of educational cadres and leaders.
The events focused on aspects of Imam Zayd’s life, his courage in confronting injustice and tyranny, and his role in correcting the path of the nation and confronting anti-Islamic ideas and plots.
The speeches also emphasized the need to emulate his example, strengthen our faith identity, and stand by the nation’s causes, foremost among them Palestine. The event included chanting, cultural, and poetic performances by male and female students.
