London - Saba:
A Western "strategic" report described Yemen as a "black hole" that remains largely unknown to Washington, as well as to Western governments and intelligence agencies.
The report highlighted the proactive role of Yemenis in the conflict, stating that it has "significantly increased the difficulty of diplomatically isolating them."
According to the British strategic consulting firm Azure Strategy, Yemen’s operations in the Red Sea not only demonstrate the resilience of the Yemeni people but also their evolution into a rising regional force with a considerable degree of autonomy.
The British firm’s report noted that U.S. President Donald Trump unexpectedly announced the halt of American airstrikes against Yemen last May after realizing that "Yemenis would not be defeated or deterred."
The report also pointed to praise from U.S. and Western officials for Yemen’s innovative approach in developing and manufacturing weapons.
