A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Amiriyeh village in Shahrud area in Semnan Province, east of the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Tuesday.
The University of Tehran Seismological Center reported that the earthquake struck at 10:44:34 local time with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale and a depth of 10 kilometers.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located at 54:80 longitude and 35:56 latitude in Amiriyeh village in Shahrud, Semnan Province, east of Tehran.
