Sana'a - Saba:
Abdulwahab Al-Mahdi, Chairman of the General Authority for Preserving Historic Cities, emphasized the need to expedite the removal of all visual distortions in the streets of the historic city of Sana'a.
This came during Al-Mahdi's field visit, which included streets and entrances of Old Sana'a, where he inspected several eyesores, including scrap and damaged vehicles as well as random street vendors that negatively impact the overall appearance of the city's historic streets.
The Chairman directed the General Inspection Department to swiftly carry out the removal of these distortions and to coordinate with the relevant authorities in the Old Sana'a Directorate to cooperate in the removal efforts and curb violations that mar the city's aesthetic, heritage, and cultural charm.
