The General Authority for Endowments held a workshop in the capial Sana’a on Saturday under the theme “Activating Endowment Funds and Enhancing Endowment Spending.”
First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah emphasized the need to protect endowments and raise awareness of their societal role, calling for criminalizing violations against endowment assets.
Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed al-Madani highlighted the developmental potential of endowments, urging local officials to support investment efforts to increase revenues.
Minister of Education Hassan al-Sa'adi called for full cooperation to strengthen endowment initiatives, while Endowments Authority head Sheikh Abdulmajeed al-Houthi reviewed past achievements and future plans to revive and grow endowment projects.
The workshop was attended by senior government and military officials, who reviewed efforts to develop internal capacity and charitable programs in various sectors.
