Jihad Leader: We showed flexibility to end Gaza war, reject displacement
[12/ July/2025]
Gaza – Saba:

Deputy Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Mohammed al-Hindi said on Saturday that "the options before the resistance are limited, and the only option is surrender."

In a media statement monitored by Sanad News Agency, al-Hindi indicated that the Zionist enemy is waging psychological warfare.

He stressed that the resistance "will not sign a framework agreement that leads to surrender," adding, "There is legendary steadfastness on the part of the Palestinian people, not just the resistance."

Al-Hindi pointed out that the Palestinian negotiating delegation is offering great flexibility in order to stop the aggression against the people in the Gaza Strip, explaining, "In light of our flexibility in the negotiations, the Zionist enemy is deluded into believing that it can eliminate the resistance."

He added, “Israel cannot advance any further without suffering attrition. Time and attrition are on our side, and we are not cowards who will surrender to Israeli-imposed boundaries.”

Al-Hindi reiterated that "the Israeli side is deluding itself into believing that we will accept surrender, and time is not on their side."

Jihad leader explained, "The Zionist enemy wants to force us to accept 40 percent of Gaza's territory. There is Israeli intransigence, and if they wanted to stop the aggression, they would have accepted a comprehensive deal."

He continued, "What we are talking about is a framework agreement that includes a cessation of aggression, which requires guarantees. It also includes an Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and addresses the mechanism for distributing aid." He emphasized, "We will no longer accept death traps or the Morag axis."

He continued, "Trump and Netanyahu have led a false media campaign to blame the failure of the negotiations on the Palestinian side, by declaring that an agreement will be reached this week or next, and that all disputes have been resolved."

Al-Hindi continued, "The repeated statements published about the proximity of reaching an agreement this week or next and resolving all disputes are completely unrelated to reality. Rather, they fall within the framework of an attempt to deceive public opinion and provide political cover for Israel."

With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 57,882 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 138,095 others. To date, this is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
