Hundreds of demonstrators gathered in the British capital, London, on Saturday for the second consecutive week to protest the government's decision to classify the "Palestine Action" group as a terrorist organization, which resulted in an official ban on its activities.
According to Russia Today, protesters held a silent sit-in in central London, raising handmade placards that read: "I oppose genocide and I support Palestine Action" The protest was met with tight security measures, including bag searches and identity checks conducted by police officers.
Some demonstrators were seen lying on the ground as police confiscated their placards before escorting them to nearby police vehicles.
The demonstrations follow similar protests held a week earlier, which ended in the arrest of 29 individuals, according to the Metropolitan Police.
