Israeli Enemy to Build Over 2,300 New Settlement Units in West Bank
[12/ July/2025]

Nablus - Saba:

Israeli Enemy authorities are planning the construction of 2,339 new settlement units across various areas of the occupied West Bank, as part of an expansive settlement project covering Bethlehem, Ramallah, Qalqilya, and Nablus.

According to the Palestinian National Bureau for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements, the so-called "Supreme Planning Council" of the Israeli Enemy is reviewing several large-scale projects. These include 1,352 units in the "Kedumim" settlement on Kafr Qaddum land, 290 units in "Nokdim" near Bethlehem, and 430 units in the settlements of "Eli" and "Giv'at Ze'ev."

The plan also includes the establishment of the "Samaria National Park" in the Palestinian town of Sebastia, north of Nablus, with a budget of 32 million shekels, seen as an attempt to assert control over Palestinian archaeological sites.

The Israeli organization Peace Now condemned the expansion as part of a deliberate government policy to implant settlements deep within Palestinian territories, exacerbating tensions and entrenching the occupation.
