Sana'a - Saba:
The National Social Party strongly condemned the heinous crime committed by the mercenaries of the Islah Party, who targeted children in Al-Ta'aziyah District, resulting in the martyrdom of five.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the National Social Party described the targeting of children as a blatant violation of the most basic human rights and a gross breach of international humanitarian law, norms, and conventions that criminalize attacks on civilians, particularly children.
The party emphasized that the bloodshed of innocent children is a stain on humanity and underscores the urgent need to halt all forms of violence and aggression.
The National Social Party expressed full solidarity with the victims' families, affirming that such criminal acts will not be subject to statutes of limitations and that justice must be served.
It called on the international community, as well as local and international human rights and humanitarian organizations, to uphold their moral and legal responsibilities regarding these recurring crimes. The party urged a firm international stance to stop these violations committed by unscrupulous entities, protect civilians, and put an end to the escalating humanitarian suffering.
The statement stressed that the silence and inaction of the international community emboldens the perpetrators of such crimes, making it complicit in these atrocities. It demanded immediate action to prevent further tragedies, ensure accountability for the perpetrators, and safeguard lives while upholding human dignity.
