Hodeida - Saba:
The Women’s Association in Zabid District, Al Hodeida province, organized a cultural seminar on Saturday commemorating Ashura and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), under the slogan "Never to Humiliation!"
The seminar discussed the values and principles upheld by Imam Hussein (pbuh) in his eternal revolution against injustice and tyranny, drawing parallels between those values and the ongoing crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against civilians in Palestine.
It also addressed the significance of Ashura and its renewed messages in the conscience of the nation, emphasizing that the blood shed in Karbala continues to awaken free consciences and that confronting tyranny is both a religious and humanitarian duty.
In a related context, the Women’s Association, in coordination with the educational sector in Beit Al-Faqih District, organized a solidarity stand in support of the Palestinian people.
Participants in the stand expressed their solidarity with Gaza and their rejection of the brutal Zionist aggression by chanting anti-occupation slogans, linking the tragedy of Gaza to the values of resilience and sacrifice embodied by Imam Hussein in Karbala.
They affirmed that the Palestinian cause will remain alive in the consciousness of generations, stressing that what the Palestinian people are enduring today is an extension of the battle between truth and falsehood. They also emphasized that Yemeni women will continue their role in mobilizing support for Palestine.
