Fourteen Palestinian civilians were martyred Friday evening as a result of Israeli enemy airstrikes on displaced persons' tents in the cities of Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis, in the central and southern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency, Wafa, reported that nine martyrs were killed after the enemy bombed a tent housing displaced persons near the Kuwaiti Hospital in al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The agency reported that five other martyrs were martyred as a result of the shelling of a car and al-Barakah gas station, which houses displaced persons, in al-Barakah area, south of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
It explained that enemy forces targeted Palestinian civilians as they attempted to retrieve the bodies of the victims at the site of the shelling in al-Barakah area.
The Wafa agency indicated that enemy forces continued to demolish residential buildings in the town of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip, last night.
It explained that this brings the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Friday to 48, including 10 aid recipients.
