Member of the Supreme Political Council Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Habtoor strongly condemned on Wednesday the arrest of former Foreign Minister Engineer Hisham Sharaf by the mercenary government at Aden International Airport.
In a statement to Saba, Dr. Bin Habtoor described the arrest as a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions safeguarding the freedom of movement.
The statement called for the immediate release of Sharaf and held the mercenary authorities fully responsible for his safety.
Dr. Bin Habtoor also urged human rights organizations to denounce the continued targeting of civilian figures, including those compelled to travel through Aden Airport.
