The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Fatah movement in Gaza, released footage Wednesday showing their joint operation with the Al-Quds Brigades—the armed wing of Islamic Jihad—targeting Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in southern Gaza.
The video documents the coordination between the two groups in preparing the operation, monitoring the enemy’s movements, and selecting the optimal moment to strike. The footage shows Israeli forces and vehicles advancing near Khuza’a in the northern Khan Younis area, before being shelled with standard 60mm mortar rounds.
This joint operation is part of the ongoing response by Palestinian resistance factions to what they describe as a campaign of genocide waged by the Israeli military—with U.S. support—against civilians in Gaza since October 7, 2023. The offensive includes mass killings, starvation tactics, forced displacement, and large-scale destruction, in defiance of international pleas and International Court of Justice orders to cease hostilities.
