Beirut - Saba:
The Lebanese Hezbollah party expressed its "strong condemnation of the sinful Zionist aggression that targeted ports and vital facilities in dear Yemen at dawn today."
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the party said: "The enemy imagines that with such aggression it can deter Yemen or dissuade it from its honorable stance in supporting Gaza, or stop the painful and agonizing blows it is receiving from the brave Yemeni heroes in the depths of its illegitimate entity."
It added: "The Israeli enemy remains unable to understand the nature of this patient and struggling Yemeni people, and their positions stem from a firm belief that justice is more deserving of being followed, and from a sincere belief in defending the oppressed and the weak."
The statement said, "The position of Yemen, its leadership and people, is an extension of the approach of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), who does not compromise on the right to confront tyranny, nor accepts humiliation and degradation."
It emphasized that "any aggression will only increase Yemen's steadfastness, resilience, and determination to continue on the path of confrontation until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted."
Hezbollah emphasized that "this cowardly aggression will not achieve its goals, just as the American aggression against Yemen failed before," and reiterated its full and steadfast support for the honorable Yemeni people, calling on "all free countries and peoples in the world, especially the Arab and Islamic peoples, to raise their voices and support this struggling and courageous people who are defending the dignity of the nation."
