Paris - Saba:

A luxury leather goods store in Paris, specializing in second-hand goods, was robbed Sunday morning by several individuals who stole handbags from the brands Chanel, Hermès, and Dior, valued at approximately €1 million, according to French police sources.

The robbery occurred shortly after 5:00 a.m. (03:00 GMT) on Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré in the 8th arrondissement, an area of the French capital home to a number of luxury stores.

French police sources explained that the perpetrators entered the Houlux store through a fourth-floor balcony, which they climbed to.

After disabling the alarm, they began throwing the bags out the window, with an accomplice picking them up and loading them into a vehicle. The stolen items amounted to more than 100 bags from the brands Hermès, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel.

The thieves left the scene after 20 minutes, and the value of the stolen items was estimated at approximately one million euros, excluding taxes.

The company's specialized units have begun investigating the circumstances of the robbery.
