The city of Dhamar witnessed a mass march and events on Sunday to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein ibn Ali (may God be pleased with them) under the slogan "Humiliation is out of our reach."
Dhamar Governor Mohammed al-Bukhaiti and a number of executive, local, and security leaders participated in the march. Slogans were raised expressing disavowal of the enemies of God and rejecting hegemony and arrogance, affirming their adherence to the path of Hussein in steadfastness on the truth and confronting tyrants.
The participants affirmed the Yemeni people's support for the Palestinian people, considering what is happening in Gaza to be the "Karbala of our time" and exposing the complicity of the weak.
They pointed out that commemorating this anniversary stems from the Yemeni people's faith identity and their loyalty to the Prophet and his pure family.
