The Women's Committee in Sanhan and Bani Bahloul districts in Sana'a Governorate organized two cultural events to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The speeches in the two events, in the Al-Gharbi and Al-Rasoul Al-A'zam districts, highlighted the personality of Imam Hussein and his sacrifices in confronting falsehood, which represented a model for confronting injustice and sacrificing oneself for the sake of Allah.
They emphasized the importance of learning lessons from the consequences of failure to support the truth, which leaves the nation living in a dark reality. They also emphasized the importance of following the path of Imam Hussein and his stances, through which he charted the path of pride and dignity for the nation in the face of injustice and tyranny. They also praised the Yemeni stance against the injustice, aggression, and killing perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people.
The speeches emphasized that the Yemeni people's adherence to the personality of Imam Hussein and emulating him has yielded steadfastness and victory in confronting the enemy and in defending the oppressed Palestinian people, who have followed Hussein's path and under the banner of the banners of guidance.
The two events included hymns expressing the nation's suffering and its condolences on the painful anniversary of the Karbala tragedy.
