Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, Croatia’s Marin Čilić, and the United States’ Ben Shelton all advanced to the fourth round of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships on Saturday.
Djokovic secured his spot by defeating fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanović in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0, 6-4, in the third round. He will face Australia’s Alex de Minaur, the tournament’s 11th seed, who overcame Denmark’s August Holmgren in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6, 6-3.
American Ben Shelton also reached the fourth round after beating Hungary’s Márton Fucsovics in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6, 6-2.
In another third-round match, Croatia’s Marin Čilić defeated Spain’s Jaume Munar in four sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 6-4, and will next face Italy’s Flavio Cobolli.
