The Telegraph: Israeli Authorities suppress reports of five military bases hit by Iranian Missiles
[05/ July/2025]

Tehran – SABA:

The British newspaper The Telegraph revealed on Saturday that Iranian missiles directly struck five Israeli military facilities during the recent 12-day conflict, citing satellite radar data withheld due to strict military censorship by the Israeli army.

According to the report, six Iranian missiles hit five different Israeli military bases, yet the Israeli authorities have not disclosed the strikes, and media outlets within the entity are barred from reporting them under military censorship laws.

However, American academics from Oregon State University, who specialize in analyzing satellite radar data to detect bomb damage in war zones, shared the data with the newspaper.

The report indicates that among the targeted facilities were a major airbase, an intelligence-gathering center, and a logistics base. Additionally, 36 missile strikes penetrated Israeli air defense systems, causing significant damage to residential and industrial infrastructure.

The paper also stated that seven Iranian strikes hit oil and power facilities, destroyed part of the Weizmann Institute – one of Israel’s top scientific research centers – and caused severe damage to the Soroka University Medical Center. Strikes on seven densely populated residential areas displaced more than 15,000 Israelis.
