Khankendi – SABA:
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared Friday that Ankara "will not remain silent in the face of Israeli crimes" and will never abandon the Palestinian cause.
Speaking at the 17th Economic Cooperation Organization Summit in Azerbaijan's Khankendi city, Erdogan condemned what he called the "aggressive policies" of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – whom he referred to as "a wanted war criminal under ICC arrest warrants" – stating these policies threaten regional peace and stability (Anadolu Agency reported).
He continued:
- "Turkey will stand firmly with Palestinians against Israeli practices that have turned the region into a bloodbath"
- "Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Syria and Iran represent systematic policies to subjugate Palestinians"
- Called for immediate international action to stop ongoing crimes in Gaza
