UNRWA: Gaza residents face catastrophic depletion as famine worsens

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) issued a dire warning Friday, stating that famine is escalating in the Gaza Strip, with residents collapsing from hunger in the streets.

In press statements this Friday, UNRWA emphasized, "Everything is running out for the people of Gaza; time, food, medicine, and safe places have already vanished."

The agency highlighted that the current aid distribution system in Gaza has "humiliated, dehumanized, and stripped dignity from hungry, frightened, injured, and exhausted families."

Israeli enemy violations against civilians at humanitarian aid distribution points are escalating, turning these areas into repeated targets for weeks. Human rights organizations describe this as a "deliberate policy to impose starvation and mass humiliation."

The death toll at Israeli-American aid distribution centers in Gaza has climbed to 652 martyrs, with over 4,537 injuries, all among starving civilians desperate for sustenance under siege and starvation.

The Israeli enemy has maintained a complete blockade on the Gaza Strip since March 2, preventing the entry of aid, relief materials, medicine, and fuel, exacerbating the severe famine conditions among the population.
