Gaza - SABA:
A security official from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) revealed on Thursday that the Zionist enemy's intelligence agencies are exploiting aid distribution points in the Gaza Strip to carry out security activities, recruit informants, and smuggle large quantities of drugs.
The security official told Al Jazeera: "We have thwarted attempts to smuggle espionage equipment and modern phones to informants for carrying out dangerous security missions."
He pointed out that aid distribution points are being used to recruit and meet with informants collaborating with the occupation.
The official added, "We have apprehended agents tasked with smuggling large quantities of drugs by intelligence officers embedded within aid teams," noting that these drugs are used to entrap young people, compromise them, and assign them espionage tasks.
He affirmed that the Israeli aid plan spreads chaos and creates an uninhabitable environment by increasing suffering.
The security official continued, "We urge some local companies not to get involved in the enemy's schemes and legitimize its crimes."
He stressed that the enemy is working to create and prolong problems, fostering the emergence of criminal gangs to destabilize security.
