A Palestinian citizen was martyred by gunfire from the Zionist enemy forces on Thursday evening near the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the Ministry of Health reported that citizen Walid Hassan Saad Bdeir (61 years old) was martyred by enemy fire near the Nur Shams camp.
The Zionist aggression continues for the 158th consecutive day in the city , Tulkarm camp, and for the 145th consecutive day in the Nur Shams camp.
With the martyrdom of citizen Bdeir, the number of martyrs in Tulkarm since the start of the ongoing aggression has risen to 14, including a child and two women—one of whom was in her eighth month of pregnancy—in addition to dozens of injuries and arrests. The aggression has also caused widespread destruction to infrastructure, homes, commercial shops, and vehicles, as well as the forced displacement of over 5,000 families from the two camps, amounting to more than 25,000 citizens.
Alongside the genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip, the enemy army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including occupied Quds, leading to the martyrdom of nearly 1,000 citizens and the injury of around 7,000 others, according to official data.
