The General Administration of Financial Affairs—under the Human Resources and Financial Sector of the Ministry of Interior concluded on Thursday the fourth training course on "Financial Oversight and Internal Control of Resources and Expenditures in Accordance with the Government Accounting System Manual."
Held over two months, the course targeted 29 trainees from branch managers of the administration within the Ministry of Interior’s general departments and provincial security offices.
During the closing ceremony, Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Madani, Director General of Training and Qualification at the ministry, stated that these training courses are part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to enhance personnel competence and improve performance to ensure financial transparency and discipline.
He expressed hope that participants would benefit from the course’s content and apply what they learned in their practical work, contributing to the development and refinement of administrative and financial operations across various departments and agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Interior.
For his part, Brigadier General Youssef Al-Shami, Director General of Financial Affairs, noted that 137 trainees from various departments and agencies under the Ministry of Interior benefited from the training program, acquiring skills in their field to enhance performance and improve outcomes.
He commended the efforts of the Ministry of Interior’s leadership and Major General Ali Salem Al-Sayfi, Deputy Minister for Human Resources and Financial Affairs, for their continuous support of training programs that contribute to improving the efficiency of employees in administrative and financial fields.
In a speech on behalf of the participants, trainees expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Interior’s leadership and the training team at the Yemeni House Institute for Consultations and Institutional Development, affirming their commitment to applying what they learned in practice in line with the leadership’s directives.
