Ibb University on Thursday launched competitive entrance exams for students seeking admission to its College of Medicine and Health Sciences and College of Dentistry for the academic year 1447 AH.
University Rector Dr. Nasr al-Hujaili stated that the competitive process ensures fairness, transparency, and accurate evaluation, aligning with the university's strategy for quality medical education. He noted the university's recent successes in infrastructure and equipment.
Dr. al-Hujaili encouraged students not admitted to medical specialties to consider other university programs.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs Dr. Ahmed Abu Luhum confirmed 2,072 applicants are competing for medical seats across various enrollment systems.
Abu Luhum added that electronic grading is underway, with preliminary results expected Thursday on the university's official platforms.
