[03/ July/2025]
Hajjah - Saba:
The Security Department of Hajjah province organized a speech event on Thursday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) under the slogan "Hayhat Minna Al-Thillah" (Far be it from us to Accept Humiliation).

The event was attended by the province’s Deputy, Adel Farhan. The Director of Hajjah Security, Brigadier General Hassan Al-Qasimi, described the Ashura anniversary as a tragic and sorrowful event in Islamic history. He addressed the reasons behind Imam Hussein’s revolution against the tyrant of the Umayyad dynasty, emphasizing his struggle to uphold the values, principles, and morals of his grandfather’s religion and to restore its righteous path.

He highlighted the significance of the revolution led by the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), which has become a beacon for freedom seekers worldwide in confronting injustice, supporting the oppressed, and raising the banner of Islam and Muslims.

Brigadier General Al-Qasimi stressed the importance of drawing lessons from Imam Hussein’s sacrifices, reaffirming loyalty to the pure and fruitful "blessed tree," and strengthening resilience in the face of modern-day tyrants and oppressors.

Meanwhile, Abdulmajid Sharafuddin, a member of the Yemeni Scholars Association, discussed the importance of commemorating Imam Hussein’s martyrdom in renewing commitment to his path, emulating his virtues, asceticism, courage, and sacrifices in confronting the tyranny of the Umayyads.

He described the anniversary as a spiritual milestone to reinforce steadfastness, resilience, and connection to the Prophet’s grandson, Imam Hussein, and to follow his path in confronting global arrogance and contemporary oppressors.

For his part, Colonel Ahmed Al-Ghulibi, Director of Facilities and Personal Protection, noted that the tragedy of Imam Hussein’s martyrdom resulted from the Yazidi deviation from the righteous path.

He explained that the slogan of the revolution’s leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, and the Ansarullah today in confronting the U.S., Israel, and their allies—"Hayhat Minna Al-Thillah"—is the same slogan Imam Hussein raised against the tyrants of his time.
