The World Health Organization (WHO) announced the evacuation of 19 Palestinian children patients and 39 companions from Gaza to Jordan, along with four patients and seven companions to Turkey.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the global organization reported that Israeli airstrikes occurred near the evacuation convoy, damaging vehicles and ambulances.
Jordan Evacuates Sixth Group of Gaza Children
Meanwhile, Jordan announced on Wednesday the evacuation of the sixth batch of children from Gaza, comprising 23 children in need of medical treatment, accompanied by 46 family members, as part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative.
- 19 children will receive treatment in Jordanian private hospitals, accompanied by 39 relatives.
- Four patients will be transferred to Turkey, accompanied by seven family members, for further treatment.
This step reflects the response of several countries to the humanitarian initiative aimed at providing critical medical care to Gaza’s wounded.
