Tehran – SABA:
Human Rights Watch (HRW) confirmed on Wednesday that the Zionist entity’s prevention of fuel from entering Gaza’s hospitals constitutes a tool for killing and forced displacement.
In a statement, the rights organization said: "Israel’s blocking of fuel to Gaza’s hospitals means certain death for most patients and represents a deliberate policy aimed at systematically destroying the healthcare system."
The statement added: "The Zionist entity is intentionally preventing fuel from reaching hospitals in northern Gaza to forcibly displace the population, particularly patients and their families, pushing them southward."
It continued: "We are witnessing the rapid spread of infectious diseases, including meningitis, due to the collapse of the healthcare system and the inability to treat sewage water."
HRW emphasized: "Israel kills dozens of civilians in Gaza daily as a result of its policies of siege and deprivation. These civilians are not officially registered as war victims because they were not killed in military airstrikes."
The rights group called on UN organizations and international relief agencies to "take urgent and collective action through all possible means to stop Israel’s crimes in Gaza."
According to HRW’s statement, "all states must fulfill their legal obligations to halt the crime of genocide in Gaza by all available measures."
