Occupied al-Quds – Saba:
The Israeli enemy army acknowledged the death of one soldier and the injury of eight others, some seriously, since this morning, Wednesday, in battles with the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.
This evening, the Israeli enemy military censorship allowed the publication of details of four attacks carried out by the army in the northern Gaza Strip since the morning hours, which resulted in the death of one soldier and the injury of eight others.
Israeli enemy army radio reported that all the attacks took place in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza, in approximately the same area and at similar times, according to the Palestinian Safa News Agency.
The radio reported that the first attack occurred around 8:00 a.m. this morning when armed Palestinian resistance fighters fired an anti-tank missile at a house where soldiers were holed up, seriously wounding two of them. Several minutes later, while attempting to evacuate the wounded, a tank belonging to the Seventh Brigade of the 98th Division was hit by another anti-tank missile.
The tank exploded, killing one soldier and wounding three others, including the tank commander.
The radio reported that another Israeli military force in the same area came under sniper fire two hours after the attack, seriously wounding one soldier. Not long after, an explosive device exploded under a D9 military bulldozer in the same area, wounding two soldiers.
The radio reported that the last three operations occurred despite attack aircraft conducting concentrated bombardment of the area from which the anti-tank missile was launched. It is believed that the same Palestinian resistance fighters carried out both missile attacks.
Hebrew sources described the rapidly escalating security developments in the Gaza Strip today as a qualitative improvement in operational activity, noting that Hamas has learned the army's methods in the Gaza Strip well, and that soldiers have become "like ducks in a shooting range," as they put it.
