The Health and Environment Office in Taiz governorate distributed on Tuesday medicines and medical supplies to five health facilities in several districts, valued at $12,750, with support from the Deem Development Organization.
Dr. Abdulmalik al-Mutawakil, Director General of the Health Office in the governorate, explained the targeted facilities included al-Wahda Maternity and Childhood Hospital in Sala district, al-Rahida General Hospital in Khadir district, al-Dama Ahkoum Rural Hospital in Haifan district, al-Hurriya Rural Hospital in Sharab al-Rawnah, and al-Aghwal Health Center in al-Tazeyah.
He stated that the medicines and supplies distributed will improve the level of health services and alleviate the suffering of patients.
Al-Mutawakil emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Health and the local authorities to providing health services to citizens, especially in rural areas.
