Sana'a - Saba:
The local authority in New Sana'a Directorate organized a speech event on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein under the slogan "Far from Us is Humiliation."
The event was attended by Shura Council member Fadhl Ma'an, Deputy Governor Jubran Ghubar, and Director of the General Zakat Office in the Governorate Abdulwahab Al-Tahaif.
During the event, the Director of the Directorate, Abdullah Al-Marwani, emphasized the importance of commemorating this occasion as a revolutionary and spiritual milestone from which the nation draws values, principles, and the reasons behind Imam Hussein’s (AS) revolution against the deviation that afflicted the Ummah, leading to that tragic event.
He called for leveraging this occasion to correct the Ummah’s current state and reform its path, stressing that the spirit of sacrifice and patience drawn from Ashura renews determination, steadfastness, and resilience in confronting forces of injustice, tyranny, and arrogance.
He also highlighted the lessons to be learned from the Hussaini school of thought and the need to follow the path of the nation’s leaders in confronting enemies and championing its causes—foremost among them supporting the Palestinian people, who endure suffering due to betrayal.
Al-Marwani affirmed the importance of adhering to the revolutionary values upheld by Imam Hussein , who sacrificed his life to uphold the word of God, distinguish truth from falsehood, and challenge the tyrants of injustice and arrogance.
